Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking seasonal staff to handle tuxedo processing in our Bakersfield distribution center. You will perform inbound/outbound tasks, break down garments, scan, bag, clean, re-bag shoes, and ensure quality control on orders.

Responsibilities include pulling tuxedo orders, restocking items, and maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime, including Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Able to work in a Distribution Center and all tuxedo production areas.
• Able to read and understand picking tickets.
• Learn to use an RF Scanner.
• Work independently or in a team.
• Customer oriented and detail focused.
• Willing to work overtime during peak season.
• Available to work Saturdays as needed.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly.
• Good communication and basic math skills.
• Learn basic computer skills.
• Enjoy fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks assigned by department supervisor.
• Breaks down and separates garments from used tuxedos.
• Scans and bags garments for cleaners.
• Cleans and re-bags shoes.
• Receives, audits, and inspects garments returned from cleaners.
• Scans, measures out-seams and sleeves, sorts and sizes garments.
• Restocks garments and accessories for re-use.
• Puts away clean shoes for re-use.
• Pulls tuxedo orders including coat, pants, shirts, shoes and accessories.
• Ensures quality control on outgoing orders.
• Matches garments and shoes on new rental orders.
• Bag finished product and label destination.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• All staff may work in all production areas.
• Performs other related duties as required.
