Job summary

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is hiring seasonal Transportation Operations Technicians to support highway maintenance and winter operations in Cambridge. This hands-on role involves repairing guardrails, patching pavement, ditching, clearing brush, and picking up litter.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in construction, equipment operation, or related manual labor, including either one season of snowplow operation or six months of operating heavy equipment.
• Special requirements include CDL Class B and living within reasonable proximity to the assigned workstation.
