Job summary

BetMakers Technology Group Ltd is seeking a Seasonal Track Operator for our Mahoning Valley location in Youngstown, OH. The ideal candidate is an entry-level student with a tech interest and aptitude.

The role runs from mid-October through April, reporting to the Field Service Manager. You will handle daily performance testing, system input, wagers operations, and emergency procedures, supporting our tote and betting platforms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of electronic schooling.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail.
• Pass a thorough background screening and drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily performance testing, system initialization, monitoring tote computer operations and normal day end reports.
• Input of all information to the system and performing manual adjustments as required to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain communication links to track locations.
• Execute established procedures in emergency situations.
• Perform related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Open up wagers and lock out wagers.
• Perform manual merge procedures in the absence of the Manager.
• Coordinate with mutuel representative and judges to ensure proper reports.

Global Tote US, LLC, a leader in the pari-mutuel wagering industry seeks a Seasonal Track Operator at our Mahoning Valley location inYoungstown, OH. The ideal candidate for this role would be an entry level student who has an aptitude for and an interest in technology.

This is a Seasonal Role starting mid-October and runs through April

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Track Operator is responsible for delivering outstanding results that support our products, customers, and teams.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Responsible for daily performance testing, system initialization, monitoring tote computer operations and normal day end reports.
• Responsible for input of all information to the system, and for making any manual adjustments required insuring that the system operates properly.
• Responsible for communication links to track locations.
• Responsible for executing established procedures in emergency situations.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Responsible for opening up wagers and locking out wagers.
• Responsible for manual merge procedures in the absence of the Manager.
• Works indirectly with the mutuel representative and judges making sure he/she receives proper reports from Global Tote.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with end users
• Strong phone, computer, and data entry skills with demonstrated attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of electronic schooling.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities is a plus
• Technical writing and test scripting skills
• Comply with applicable state, provincial and federal regulations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants will need to pass a thorough background screening and drug test

Pay range for this role is:
