Job summary

RSM is seeking a dependable Seasonal Assistant Store Manager to lead a temporary Toy Shop, supporting daily operations and assisting the Store Manager. You will greet customers, answer product questions, and ensure a customer-ready environment during the busy holiday period.

The role requires friendly, energetic service, basic cashier experience, and the ability to learn weekly activity instructions. It is a full-time seasonal position with hours throughout the holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Comfort with POS systems and handling transactions.
• Friendly, energetic, patient with customers of all ages.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and able to learn weekly tasks.
• Experience supporting or leading a small retail team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Greet customers, answer questions, help locate items.
• Process merchandise transactions and follow controls.
• Explain and manage the make-and-take activity for customers.
• Maintain shelves, stock items, and support replenishment.
• Support opening/closing tasks and store readiness.
• Follow safety, loss-prevention, and dress-code requirements.
