Job summary

FAO Schwarz is seeking a Seasonal Sales & Experience Associate for the Nordstrom boutique in New York. You will guide guests through immersive experiences, perform live toy demonstrations, and handle register duties with a playful, on-brand approach.

This role requires flexibility across shifts, strong customer focus, and a passion for toys. Responsibilities include presenting product knowledge, driving sales, and contributing to special events while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Retail, hospitality, performance, or experiential experience is a plus.
• Available to work across days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enter different worlds each shift and bring characters to life with energy and showmanship.
• Guide guests through immersive experiences and help convert interest into purchases.
• Perform live toy demonstrations to spark excitement and drive engagement.
• Use selling strategies to meet boutique sales goals.
