Job summary

Alterra is seeking Terrain Park Crew Members at Stratton Mountain. The role focuses on maintaining and building terrain parks, ensuring guest safety, and contributing to feature design. This is a full-time seasonal position with compensation at $20.00/hour.

Applicants should be proficient in terrain park techniques, able to work in all weather conditions, and capable of lifting heavy loads. The team emphasizes service, safety, and collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient Terrain Park skier or rider.
• Knowledge of terrain park trends, design, building, and best practices.
• Ability to perform work in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Intrawest Driver’s Standards policy.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Grooming team to construct Terrain Parks.
• Open and close parks, mark features, hand tune features, and test features.
• Bring creative park design ideas to the table.
• Interact with guests to provide a dynamic terrain park experience.
• Educate guests in Park Etiquette and promote slope safety.
• Enforce Stratton policies in Terrain Parks.
• Install and remove signage, banners, rope, flagging, and fencing.
• Perform routine inspections of all terrain features.
• Maintain all terrain features on a regular basis.
• Assist Events Team with Terrain Park events.
• Report Park issues to leads/supervisor.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
