Job summary

Best Buy in Maryland is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to be the face of the store, helping customers select technology and services. You’ll receive training to confidently recommend products, demonstrate features, answer questions, and guide shoppers through the purchase process.

You’ll perform cashier duties, maintain the sales floor, assist with in-store and curbside pickup, and stay current with product knowledge through ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations that meet customers’ needs across all departments
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges
• Maintain appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders
