Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Poway is seeking a Seasonal Team Member to support the store with shopping assistance, checkout operations, and merchandise replenishment. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a clean, inviting shopping environment for customers.

As a pivotal member, you will engage customers in the Rewards program, assist with BOPIS/SFS where applicable, and maintain store recovery standards. Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light to moderate lifting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store appearance (planograms).
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS).
• Follow SOPs and safety policies to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
