Job summary

H&R Block in Greensboro, NC is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll interview clients in-person and virtually, prepare complete returns, and leverage a team of tax experts for training and support.

Ideal candidates have accounting or related field education, 5+ years in tax or accounting, and CPA/EA certification preferred. You’ll drive client satisfaction, cross-sell services, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where applicable
• Mentor and support teammates
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
