H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs.

You’ll rely on an expert team and advanced training to deliver accurate returns and confident guidance. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete tax returns, and identify opportunities to grow the client base while ensuring IRS compliance and high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (audit representation where allowed).
• Mentor and support teammates.
