H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal role in Wisconsin. You will serve clients with diverse tax needs, conducting interviews in person or virtually, preparing returns, and supporting growth with additional products and services.

Training and expert support are provided to ensure success. Ideal candidates bring a CPA/EA credential or progress toward one, 5+ years in tax or related fields, and comfort using virtual tools for interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation for Circular 230 associates).
• Mentor and support teammates.
