Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and receive advanced training from a dedicated team.

You will conduct tax interviews in person and virtually, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and help grow the business by boosting client retention and offering additional products and services. A related degree and credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or higher.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience handling complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Comfort with virtual tax interviews and IRS support.
• Sales/marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and via virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate growth by increasing client retention and offering additional services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation as allowed.
• Mentor and support teammates.
