Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication, ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financials and implications
• Provide personalized tax savings recommendations and cross-sell HR Block products
• Offer IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
