This in-person role offers a competitive hourly rate and an incentive plan, with opportunities to grow in tax and financial services during the seasonal peak.

Qualifications

• Must complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles
• Strong verbal and written communication, ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Meet IRS and state requirements for continuing education

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes
• Provide personalized tax recommendations and savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
