Job summary

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office and offers an incentive plan based on impact. Applicants should have at least 1 year of tax-related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain tax

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office.
