Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses
• Strong communication skills for client-friendly explanations
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse and complex situations, including individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and life changes
• Build trusted client relationships with empathetic, consultative service and tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notices assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, client-focused office environment
