H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates, earning a competitive hourly rate.

No prior tax experience is required; you'll learn on the job while building valuable client-service skills and relationships. This role is in-person during tax season with opportunities to grow as you develop tax knowledge and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
