H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate in Michigan. You will work in-person at a local tax office, meeting with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions with guidance from experienced teammates.

Training is provided from day one. Earn an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows; evenings and weekends may be required during tax season.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to analyze information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
