H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join a local tax office. You will prepare returns, interview clients, and identify savings opportunities using our training and technology, delivering trusted guidance with a client-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1 year of tax prep or related experience including individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse clients including individuals and businesses
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications, then provide clear recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote HR Block products
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance to clients as needed
• Collaborate with office team to maintain a positive, client-focused environment
