H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, and to build lasting client relationships in a local tax office.

You will interview clients, identify relevant tax savings opportunities, and provide consultative service supported by industry-leading training and technology. This in-person role offers an hourly rate and incentive plan as you grow your tax expertise and serve clients.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients including individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities.
• Deliver IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
