Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs while receiving expert training to ensure success. Youll build strong client relationships and support the team in delivering accurate tax returns and tax planning services.

You will conduct virtual and in-person interviews, prepare returns, and contribute to growing the practice by cross-selling services. A fast-paced environment and collaboration with tax specialists are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support teammates.
