H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with complex tax situations. You will prepare returns, interview clients, and identify tax savings opportunities, backed by industry-leading training and technology.

This in-person role offers an hourly rate with an incentive plan, as you build tax expertise and client relationships within a local Block office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete CE and meet IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations.
