H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax matters and build trusted relationships. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and deliver empathetic, consultative service using leading training and technology.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with client-friendly tax explanations
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office
