H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare individual and business tax returns and deliver client-focused advisory guidance. You will interview clients, identify tax-saving opportunities, and provide clear recommendations while leveraging industry-leading training and technology.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with competitive hourly pay and an incentive plan based on impact and tax expertise development.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting/finance or related field

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes and tax implications
• Provide tax planning and savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
