Job summary

H&R Block in Colorado is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for the seasonal period to prepare returns for individuals and businesses and provide client guidance. In this in-person role, you'll interview clients, identify deductions, and deliver personalised tax strategies with support from our training and technology.

You'll build lasting relationships by offering empathetic service, explain complex concepts in plain language, and participate in incentive plans based on performance.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to uncover financial changes and tax implications.
• Provide tax savings opportunities and product recommendations.
• Offer IRS support, notices assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
