Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients, and deliver personalized tax savings guidance. You will join a supportive team at a local Missouri office, with industry-leading training and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and life changes
• Build trusted client relationships with empathetic, consultative service
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
