Job summary

H&R Block in Missouri is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal, in-person role. You will prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand finances, and provide personalized tax advice with opportunities to save clients money.

You will deliver consultative service, build strong client relationships, and support clients with IRS notices and audit guidance as needed while leveraging industry-leading training and technology.

Qualifications

• Complete required IRS knowledge assessment or Tax Knowledge Assessment as part of onboarding.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience including individuals and small business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities
