Qualifications

• Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year of tax prep/related experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain tax concepts simply.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide tax-saving recommendations and discuss H&R Block products.
• Give IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
