H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations, both individual and business, in-person at a local H&R Block tax office.

You will interview clients to understand their financials and tax implications, provide personalized recommendations, and identify opportunities to save on taxes while delivering empathetic, consultative service.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience, including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
