H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations. You will conduct in-depth client interviews, provide personalized recommendations, and help clients navigate IRS notices with expert guidance.

This full-time seasonal role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office and offers an incentive plan based on performance as you build your tax expertise and serve clients.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields, including individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
