The role focuses on delivering accurate tax service, growing client relationships, and utilizing virtual tools to interview clients and complete filings. Prior credentials and experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Mentor and support teammates
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients using in-person and virtual channels
• Prepare and review individual tax returns with accuracy
• Assist clients with tax notices and IRS inquiries
• Grow client relationships and promote additional services
• Support teammates and provide guidance as needed
