Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with complex tax situations. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, conduct in-depth interviews, and provide personalized recommendations to maximize savings.

In-person at a local H&R Block office, with access to leading training and technology. You’ll build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service and contribute to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations (individuals and businesses).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive office environment.
