H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.

You will interview clients to understand their financials, provide personalized advice, and identify tax savings opportunities, supported by industry-leading training and technology. In this in-person role at a local H&R Block office, you’ll collaborate with teammates to deliver empathetic, consultative service and ensure compliance with IRS/state

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including individual and business returns.
• Proficiency with tax software and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications, offering clear recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote relevant H&R Block products; provide IRS notice support when needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
