H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate federal and state tax returns for diverse client needs.

You will interview clients to understand financial situations, provide clear, personalized recommendations, and identify potential tax savings opportunities with the support of our training and technology. Qualifications

• Must complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or enrollment in Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping including individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
