Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience preparing individual and business returns in a client-facing role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Provide recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and product options.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
