H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal, in-person role at a Huntsville, AL tax office.

You will prepare complete tax returns for clients with diverse situations, interview clients to understand finances, and provide personalized recommendations while identifying tax savings opportunities. You will deliver empathetic, consultative service, offer support for IRS notices, and collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, with individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, then provide personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
