H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations and maximize savings.

You’ll prepare accurate returns, conduct in-depth client interviews, and deliver personalized recommendations with empathy, backed by strong training and technology. You’ll work in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, enjoy a competitive hourly rate, and participate in an incentive plan reflecting your impact as you advance your tax expertise and service

Qualifications

• Completed H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation/accounting/finance experience including individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
