Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and product offerings.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
