Job summary

H&R Block in Manchester, NH is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses and provide personalized recommendations.

You will conduct in-depth client interviews, build trusted relationships, and identify tax savings opportunities using our training, technology, and incentive plan. This is an in-person role at a local HR Block office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in client-facing, advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and life changes
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote HR Block products
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
