Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join a local tax office in Manchester. You will prepare complete returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and provide clear recommendations with tax savings opportunities.

You’ll deliver empathetic, consultative service, leverage training and technology, and participate in an incentive plan that rewards impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses required.
• Client-facing advisory experience preferred.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse clients.
• Interview clients to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and upsell relevant products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
