Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Strong client-facing, consultative or advisory experience.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations (individuals and businesses).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications; provide personalized recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relate them to H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
