Job summary

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office with an incentive plan tied to performance and client impact.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of tax prep or related experience with individuals and businesses.
• Experience in client-facing advisory or consultative roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
