Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for clients with diverse tax situations and provide personalized recommendations. You will conduct in-depth client interviews, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships with the support of our training and technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience
• Experience in client-facing, advisory role desired
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• GoSystem or Ultratax familiarity preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
