Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of tax-related experience including individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with complex situations (individual & business)
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
