Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience with individual and business returns.
• Strong communication and ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Ability to complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Hands-on client-facing advisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Build trusted client relationships and promote relevant H&R Block products.
• Offer IRS support, notices assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
