Job summary

H&R Block in Asheville, NC is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses. You will interview clients, identify tax savings opportunities, and deliver consultative service using H&R Block tools and training.

You will provide IRS support, notices handling, and audit guidance as needed, while building lasting client relationships in a collaborative, in-person office environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prepare individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication for tax concepts
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
