Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; explains tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements and have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities and product fit.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
