Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for in-person, seasonal tax work at a local office. You will prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to assess financial situations, and provide personalized recommendations with tax savings opportunities.

You will offer IRS support, audit guidance, and maintain client relationships through empathetic, consultative service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication, ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
