Qualifications

• Passed the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year minimum tax preparation or related experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations.
• Provide personalized tax saving recommendations and identify relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
