H&R Block in South Carolina is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for the seasonal period to prepare complex individual and business returns, interview clients, and identify tax savings opportunities. You will deliver clear, client-focused guidance using our training and technology.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year tax experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain tax concepts in plain language. In-person position with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Must complete tax knowledge assessment and state requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep or related experience with individual/business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications.
• Provide guidance on tax savings opportunities and product recommendations.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office culture.
